You're leaving.
You're leaving, and I saw this coming. Why would you stay when there is nothing left for you here? Thinking I was enough for you to stay was my biggest flaw. The wound that I have stitched up constantly comes unraveled each time you bring it up. Poking the wound each time you decide to be with someone else using the time you have left. Maybe this is for the best. Maybe this way, you truly understand how dull life is without me. Rethink your word choices when you talked to me. Rethink each time your cruel words ripped open more wounds in my heart than I can count. Rethink why I still craved for your attention, being overly kind to you when you were the opposite. You're leaving. This is a fact. I'm excited for you and your new beginning without me there. Maybe distance brings fondness and you'll know what you've lost now that it's gone.
