Your Worst Nightmare
I've fallen out of love with you I never thought this would be the way we would end I became the broken one, as to your will I tried to bend. I am so tired of arguing and always taking the blame All the guilt trips you've taken me on and condemnation of your own shame Now looking back I see that I was used And lying to myself, I played along and took your abuse But now I can't unseen the things that I have seen I have to wash my hands of you so that mine are clean Staying longer will just prolongs the pain and enable you to demean I thought that you were the one but now I know you're not You always put me last, not firsts my needs were an afterthought Now, you're intoxicated by power, You'll soon sober up and learn remorse, There's nothing more sobering than being served with papers by the sheriff for a divorce. Maybe then you'll start to see just how badly you treated me. And when you pick up the pen to sign and seal your fate, I hope it eats at your very soul when you realize it's too late. And when the judge autographs this document for you, That all of your worst nightmares finally start coming true!
