your girl
I envy women with long willowy silhouettes their arms are dainty branches, their hair flows gently and falls down so perfectly, they stand tall and are the epitome of elegance and grace. I stare at my body, analyzing my features; too wide, too short, too soft, too sharp, not perfect. I am not a willowy. I take everything there is about me and compare it to those beautiful beautiful girls, the girls who play in movies and are on magazine covers. I'm no red carpet girl, and my mind buzzes with a jealous rage. Then it all fades, my thoughts, my dysmorphia, my anger, the intense need for perfection, it all fades to black as I remember I am yours I feel revitalized, I feel wonder I am amazed that you look at me and see the beauty I see in others. I feel a wave of emotions fall over me as I realize that you have nothing but love for me I don't want to be a model girl anymore, I don't want my features to change, because it means that I get to be me, and in turn, I get to be yours. Nothing is more beautiful than the love you have shown me.
