Your Fault – Inspired by Yuji
It feels like I'm not alone In my head, with my thoughts In my body, in my bones I hear you as a cursed echo Your voice–it screams and whispers both Right by my ear, it's cold and low No emotion, none at all Blurring my mind with every blow All day you sit upon your throne Laughing at me in that tone Judging all I say and do– What will become of me alone? What will you do when I can't speak? To resist or disagree Each day you try to break my will To mold me into what you need Must stay focused, I must stay Stay alive, can't let you take Control of my flesh and face If I'd give in... the world would break And yes, of course–I am to blame I'm standing so close to the edge No future, no past and no set fate Just lost who I loved– and hated Look at my hands– they are shaking I look down and see the pain Of every soul that died through me Led by your hands, through mine, slain Covered in the blood I've spilled This city? Erased. Nothing left to rebuild Those hands slowly crawl up my face They try to hide and block the waste They try to help me to escape To rebuild all that I've razed– All the people I have killed All the bones that I've cracked and crushed Now even silence seems too loud Please make it hush
