Your Eyes
your eyes became my mirror your eyes became my solace your eyes became a place where I could wash away all my sorrows and pain A place of peace and harmony is what I saw in your eyes You took my breath away with the smile your eyes gave And the more I looked the more I fell flat and hard Your eyes became my place of protection and comfort I guess your eyes were nothing but a distraction You unveiled me and saw every shade of my skin You took my most valuable weapon and used it against me I hate you and I love you but I hate the fact that I still want you You made me a puppet, I must say you are good at pulling those stings Your eyes became an Oasis my Oasis where I could absorb every peace and harmony I needed I guess too much of it sinked me into a hellhole and now look where I am now, burning in the flams of the fire I created for myself
