You wish that she was me.
How lovely you are today; With your new lover you bragged, as you say. You showed her off like she was a new diamond. But you remembered my shadow that has withered in the background. You and her peacefully pacing through the garden. Holding hands with your fingers intertwined. Both of your arms sway with the gushing wind. You unlocked another memory with your new girl. You both dance with the rhythm of the wind. Both of you laughing and rejoiced with the breeze. Both of you enjoyed making that memory, but you can't help to think that she was me. Your eyes locked with hers You glance at her beautiful hazel iris As you looked at her deeply with love, You saw my reflection in her eyes. You shake your head, confused to what you are feeling. It was a feeling of regret and reminiscence. I know that while you're making memories with your new girl; You can't help but wish your making it with me.
