You went cold
Starry eyes of espresso twinkle my way Waving with a big grin on your face I thought we'd end up together The way you'd wait for me in the coldest weather. But the coffee went cold and the sun overshone the stars. And when I told you I liked you, you had sailed off too far. And I pray you'll come back with the tide But I don't know why you went cold.
