You said you love me,last time
You said you love me, last time we met, Beneath the stars, where our dreams were set. In whispers soft, like a gentle breeze, Your words, a treasure, put my heart at ease. A vow unbroken, or so I believed, In a world of shadows, my heart was deceived. Yet still I stand, with hope in my chest, For love's sweet promise shall not lay to rest. O'er hills and valleys, my thoughts wander wide, Each memory cherished, with you by my side. For even in silence, your spirit remains, In the echoes of laughter, in joys and in pains. So here I wait, as the seasons do turn, For your voice once again, for my heart's deep yearn. You said you love me, and though we may part, Your words, like a flame, will live in my heart.
