You Pulled Me into light..
There was a time the sun stood still, Its warmth forgot, its golden will. The days were gray, the nights were long, And silence drowned my every song. My heart was heavy, steeped in pain, Each thought a storm, each breath a chain. I hid behind a fragile face, A ghost within an empty space. The world lost shape, the colors bled, A thousand voices filled my head. I whispered please, though none could hear— Just echoes of my own despair. Then softly came your steady grace, A gentle light, a tender face. No grand parade, no thunder’s roar, Just you, your presence at my door. You didn’t speak in hollow cheer, You simply stayed—you drew me near. You held my shaking hands in yours, And love seeped through the broken doors. You said, “You’re human, not undone. Your shadow proves you’ve met the sun.” And when I cried, “I can’t go on,” You whispered, “Wait—just lean upon The love that’s here. Let time be kind. You’ll find your way, just give it mind.” So slowly through the cracks of night, Your laughter poured in threads of light. Each smile you gave, each touch, each word— Rebuilt the faith I once deferred. You taught me healing’s quiet art— It’s found in hearts that never part. It’s tea at dusk, a whispered song
