As I gaze back, gratitude fills my soul For the way You rescued me, made me whole The past was a darkness, an unbearable weight Yet You saw a future so bright, so great You knew my beginning, my end, and beyond In You, my past, present, and future belonged My mind couldn't fathom the wonders in store Guilt and hopelessness plagued me before But You saw beyond my struggles and fears You saw a future where I'd conquer my tears Your love, undeserved, You freely bestowed No judgment or condemnation flowed Through countless failures, You stayed by my side With endless patience, Your love did abide Before I knew I needed a Savior, You came Rescuing my soul, calling me by name In awe I stand of the Man that You are That You'd save one who keeps falling so far How do You hold it all, never letting me break? Your love for me is too much to take I'm forever indebted, my heart is sold With every command, I'll faithfully mold To the whispers of Your name, I'll worship and bow YAHWEH, my Savior, I'll follow You now Day and night, I cry out for Your aid Help me be the person You've designed and made Until I see You in glory, I won't give in For You never gave up on me, my sins All that I am, I surrender to You🙏💜
