You Left Me Unsure
You left me unsure, like a boat adrift in a vast, silent sea. The waves of doubt crash against my heart, each one a reminder of your absence. I wander through the days, searching for signs of you in the faces of strangers, in the whispers of the wind. Your laughter, once a melody that filled my world, now echoes in the empty halls of my mind. I reach out, but my hands grasp only shadows. The warmth of your touch, the comfort of your presence, all seem like distant dreams. Nights are the hardest. The darkness brings memories that dance just out of reach, teasing me with what once was. I lie awake, staring at the ceiling, wondering where it all went wrong. Did I miss the signs? Was there something I could have done to keep you here? You left me unsure, and in that uncertainty, I find a strange kind of solace. For in the not knowing, there is hope. Hope that one day, the fog will lift, and I will see clearly again. Until then, I will hold on to the fragments of you, piecing them together like a puzzle, hoping to find the picture of us once more.
