You Get What You Reap
when I used to think about our times, I smiled. Now I sit and wonder, how could he throw me out, his own child? Sometimes I think I should apologize, But when will he ever realize? I really thought this was it. Finally our perfect life, but now it just feels like I was stabbed with a knife. Does he really not care for me anymore? But now every day it just feels like war. Did he really choose his wife over me again? Now I just sit and twirl the pen. Thinking what could I do to clean up this mess? But when I think about it, it just caused more stress. I really love him, I hope he knows, But it's killing me inside, the pain that grows. I don't want to leave him again because of her, But when I look at my past with her, it's a blur. I hope he soon realizes the great pain I feel, But I know without him or her, I'll find it easy to heal. I love him most even on the crazy days, I just wish that someday he'll finally change his ways. So here's a message for you, if you ever read it, I took time and thought fought it bit by bit. I feel sorrow for you and pain for her, But I don't think you see the pain I feel when this occurs. I don't want you to cry or weep, But I want you to know, you get what you reap.
