You Are Not Alone
A plant, a lonely plant Sits on a bare rock in the middle of a sea The only voice it knows is the wind The only companionship offered, the warm tingling of the sun This plant lives for the sun You should see the way it glistens The way it flowers blossoms The sun is a friend without whom the plant would be lost The plant does not understand the moon And it's connection with the tides It longs for the tiny friends that surrounds the moon Oh, what a bliss it would be to be loved so The sun and this plant Two jellys in a cup For the plant smiles at the sun Because the sun is just as lonely as me
