You are Home.
A primrose blooms, amidst a winter night. Outside our door as blizzard rages on. November nocturne, in darkness there was light. A shared warmth in solace, our love was born. A daffodil blooms, the morose frost thaws. Valentine's gaze, the sadness had been lost. February fervent, love defies laws Endless compassion, lost time is no cost. A sunflower blooms, we laze in the sun. Sensual summer, it had us both beat. April's assurance, we were on the run. Carnal constellations, I pray we meet A jasmine blooms, we had run far away. Mournful monsoon, distance lent had grown. June's Journey, of understanding led astray. Earthquake in our wake, a fault of our own. Times will change and in our search, we may roam. To find ourselves again for you are— home.
