Yet Another Poem About You
I wish I knew how to tell you this But I simply know I can't Sometimes I wonder all about you And sometimes I just can't A part of me wonders if you liked me When you said you did And another part of me wonders Did you ever really mean it when you did You told me we were like that one song That even if we broke up again You would still date me all over again I'm sitting here on the bed My thoughts are nothing but dread And I just wish I could tell you what I think But I can't so I write instead Because maybe one day Further down the road You will read these poems And you will finally know I'd like you from day one I still like you even though we're done I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not I silently fill my head of scenarios Like you walk in my house I wouldn't even know I'm reading my poem out loud I'll turn to you with my eyes looking down And I finally tell you without knowing All the words that are inside me growing And you will simply look at me Another poem it will be but then you finally know everything inside me that grows
