Yesterday
I was smiling yesterday, now it's been replaced, with a dark light in my head, and a villain in my brain. My feet feel like they're lead, my heart eventually sank, if I take just one more step, I'll be falling off the plank, I thought peace was for the dead, and hurt was for the living, until I got down on my knees, and eventually started praying, for something that was real, for something that was true, for something that won't sink to the deepest of the blue, there was ice inside my bones, a void inside my soul, but now I'll murder all the lie, and take back what he stole, cause life is more than just a gift, it's the beauty of a promise, and the sorrow can be lift, so I will no longer worry on it.
