Yearning
I longed to go to where you are, be with you to whisper though far. Speak to you when no one's around, tell stories I'm sure you won't frown. I'll share my thoughts my daily strive till sense of loss, despair in life abetted, till speechless all of us. Beneath the silent, poignant earth, there they in peaceful bliss reside my mom and dad lay side by side. Through wanderings now old I've learned: as though birds to nests I'll returned amongst marbles, encrypted stones. Where heart that yearns can be alone.
