Yah Wipe My Tears Away
Lord, Wipe Away My Tears In the depths of my despair, I cry out to Thee, A soul tormented, worn by life's cruelty. Each morning dawns with tears that won't subside, Prayers ascend, yet silence is my guide. I've held on tight, with hope's fragile thread, But friends depart, and strangers mock my head. No helping hand, no comforting ear, I'm treated like a shadow, invisible and mere. Oh, Lord, how long shall I endure this pain? When will my tears cease, and peace reign? Was I born to suffer, to beg for scraps? To kneel in humility, for just a glimpse of hope's maps? My smile's a facade, a mask I wear, A disguise to hide the tears that fall like rain. The world judges me, without a care, Leaving me alone, with no one to share. When, oh Lord, will my deliverance come? When will I rise above this darkness, and be free? I've searched for solace, in the darkest night, But Your presence, Lord, is my only light. In Your mercy, Lord, wipe away my tears, And heal the wounds that bring me to my knees. Grant me strength to face each new day, And fill my heart with hope, come what may. For in Your love, I find my refuge true, A place to hide, where I can be anew. So I'll hold on to faith, though trials rage, And trust
