Yah Remember Your Sheep
In the verdant pastures of Your providence, Where the verdant grasses of mercy bloom and flourish, You entrusted to our care, a flock of fragile souls, Your sheep, Yah, the objects of Your tenderest loves. Their fleece, besmirched by the stains of sin and shame, Requires the gentle cleansing of Your redeeming blood, Their wounds, inflicted by the ravages of life's tempests, Need the soothing balm of Your compassion, Yah, their Good Shepherd. In the darkest valleys of despair and desperation, Where the shadows of fear and doubt assail and beset, They cry out for Your guidance, Yah, their Rock and Refuge, Their hearts, aflame with the fires of hope and longing. Remember Your sheep, Yah, who wander, lost and alone, In the desolate wilderness of a world that's gone astray, Their hearts, heavy with the burdens of life's trials, Yearn for the gentle leading of Your staff, Yah, their Savior. In the stillness of the night, when the stars shine bright, And the world, in all its chaos, seems to pause and hold its breath, They listen for the whisper of Your voice, Yah, their Shepherd, Guiding them, gently, through the turbulent waters of life. Remember Your sheep, Yah, who struggle, weak and frail.
