Yah my Secret keeper
If every thought, every deed, and every secret we hold Could be inscribed upon our foreheads, for all to behold I wonder, would we still walk with our heads held high? Or would we cower in shame, with our eyes cast to the sky? If the whispers of our hearts could be reviewed and replayed I wonder, how would we fare? Would our true selves be displayed? Or would we be exposed, with our masks and pretenses torn? And our deepest fears and doubts, laid bare for all to scorn? But Yah, our Secret Keeper, knows all, and yet He keeps Our confidences, our deepest secrets, in the silence of His sleep We sin, we stumble, we fall, and yet He lifts us up again And though we may not deserve it, He blesses us, in secret, and in silence, without a single word of blame His mercy is a mystery, His love, a wonder to behold He keeps our secrets, and yet, He sets our souls free to unfold Like a gentle shepherd, He guides us, through the darkest night And though we may not see His hand, He leads us, to the light So let us come to Him, with our secrets, our fears, and our doubts Let us lay our burdens at His feet, and let Him work His wonders, without a single rout For Yah, our Secret Keeper, is the One who knows us best.
