Yah Intervene
In the depths of my soul, I cry out to You The One who formed me, knew me, before I drew my first breath anew You crafted every part, every joint, every fiber of my frame And for a purpose, You created me, though now I'm lost in shame My eyes, once bright, now dim, as darkness gathers near The path ahead, uncertain, and my heart, filled with doubt and fear A wound, so deep, it gapes, a chasm that seems impossible to mend Yet, before I utter a word, You know, dear Yah, the end Like Peter, I'm sinking, drowning in life's turbulent sea My voice, a desperate whisper, calling out to You, my only liberty I yearn to rise above, to walk on waves, unshaken and free But the weight of my mistakes, threatens to drag me down to the depths of me In this darkness, I confess, I've stumbled, lost my way The tempter's voice, a siren's call, beckoning me to stray But I resist, dear Yah, the urge to compromise, to sell my soul For I know, in You, I'll find redemption, and a love that makes me whole So I kneel, a humble supplicant, before Your throne A child, broken, contrite, seeking forgiveness, and a love that's known Don't leave me behind, dear Father, though I've wandered, lost my way Intervene, dear Yah, and lift me up.
