Yah I'm Tired
Yah, enough is enough, I'm exhausted from beseeching others for mere sustenance, A meager crust of bread to satiate my growling belly. I'm weary of being weary, fatigued from the perpetual struggle, Tired of being exploited, used as a mere pawn in the games of others. My days commence with tears, my stomach gnawed by hunger's relentless pangs, My body wracked by pain, my spirit crushed by the weight of despair. Yah, I'm tired of being tired, drained by the Sisyphean cycle of sorrow. In this desolate landscape, I yearn for a respite, a fleeting moment of solace, A brief clearing in the tempestuous skies, a stillness that soothes my troubled soul. It is hard, Daddy, the burden is crushing, the weight of my existence unbearable. My bones, Yah, my very life, my family – all are drowning in the turbulent waters, Sinking beneath the waves of desperation, suffocating beneath the crushing weight of responsibility. Rescue me, dear Father, from the guilt of my past transgressions, From the iniquities that haunt me, the shadows that darken my door. Wipe away my tears, wash away my sins, and restore my soul to its former radiance. In this darkest of nights, I cry out for deliverance, for a beacon of hope to guide me.
