Yah Don't leave Me
In the wilderness of life, where shadows roam, I cry out to You, my guiding Light, my Home. Don't leave me astray, in this desolate land, Take me back, Yah, to Your loving hand. In the depths of my soul, a whisper remains, A spark of faith, that still sustains. Hear me, Yah, as I call out Your name, Don't abandon me, in this endless game. The darkness closes in, with every step, Fear's icy grip, my heart does beset. But still, I hold on, to Your promise true, You'll never forsake, Your child, anew. In the silence, I hear Your gentle voice, A whispered reassurance, a heartfelt choice. To follow You, through life's twisted maze, To trust Your guidance, through endless days. Take me back, Yah, to Your loving fold, Enfold me tight, in Your mercy to hold. Don't leave me astray, in this world's wild sea, Be my Anchor, my Rock, my destiny. Hear me, Yah, as I pour out my heart, A humble plea, to never depart. Stay with me, through life's joy and strife, My constant Companion, my eternal Life.
