Wrong time, Wrong Space
We met at the wrong time, wrong space But eventually space came back around It was a new time and a familiar face Somehow it was love we found But love is blind and neither of us could see The love was obvious, it was evident But in the cracks, in the seams, there was toxicity Everything wasn't alright but we were content We basked in the joy and shared our sorrows We thought we were great, but some things weren't okay, see We ignored our problems and imagined better tomorrows But who knew those tomorrows would never come to be I wasn't ready for you to leave But lately it seems like I wasn't ready for anything A love like ours was the best I'd ever seen Of course I accepted the wedding ring I should've known better, should've seen the signs Maybe then you wouldn't have made the drive Maybe then you'd have had less on your mind Maybe then you'd still be alive
