Writings on the wall of my mind Paintings I have failed to erase Like an untold story on repeat And vivid through my ways But invisible to those that never stay Writings on the wall of my mind A cycle that is hard to escape A night terror that plagues me through the day That cripples my mind and fills me with dread Writings on the wall of my mind Holding onto them like a demon slayed How can I run away When there were better days beckoning me to stay
