(free verse) Beginnings turn to ends Now we're just a couple of really good friends. Does the story ends now If we never talk. If the character has your smile And your demeanor in her walk. Can a story end if I decide Its time to let it go. Can a story end if the writer Is in the book. An endless supply of ink immortalized with every look. If she lives it exactly, If she's trying to make it out. Can a story ever end if the writer is who the story is about.
