Wrestling Thoughts
Wrestling with my thoughts Often leaves me distraught Sometimes hard to decipher All Sense lost as thoughts pilfer There's a strong urge to find true meaning Yet all this noise is still lingering Always wrestling with myself Fighting to shove each thought into a different shelf. Attempting to quiet my brain Rewiring the neurons to keep myself sane Determined to heal Willing to feal Calming my nervous system to see what is real. Finding facts in feelings of fiction Letting go casts of vindication I'm hopeful the path I'm on is right That I'm on my way to finding the light. As difficult it is to find truth in thoughts cluster Courage in me I will muster. Wrestling with my thoughts often leaves me distraught To Silence my head, with myself I must talk.
