Wounds that are echoing
In my childhood's embrace I felt innocence and grace. If I had been more wise, I would have enjoyed my childhood so nice. A child is a child who fully dreamed, In those paths where lights has beamed. If I had ran down the hill, maybe I would have known how my wounds would heal. If we had explored‚ We could have enjoyed exploring the wonders that time had destroyed. Those were the dreams that took flight While I danced through day and night. A kid is a kid that wanted to be a teen Who never knew if in life they will lose or win. If only I had known what it felt like, I would have only ridden my bike. The Little Miss me used to smile and play along, even played my favorite song. Now I understand how sadness feels, But I still have wounds that never heals.
