Wounded
My wounds make me extra sensitive. I'm torturing myself by trying to hide my pain with a heart-shaped bandaid. I picture it like a volcano building up its power in order to erupt, but this flimsy bandaid holds on just enough to seal the pressure in. I can't hold it. I feel the edges folding back releasing unwanted steam. I just want to hide.
