Would you
As I lay here amongst the trees, fingers running through the grass, cicadas humming around me, staring into the sun-bleached sky— I wonder if you would like it here too. Would you lie down beside me? Would you let me stroke your soft blond hair, kiss your freckled shoulder? Will you tell me what you love, what you're passionate about— what book changed you, what song makes you feel deeply? Can I look into those deep blue eyes and see what makes this man beautiful? Will you let me kiss you, bring my hand down your body? Would you touch me back— will you make love to me in my favorite place, in nature? Will you make me come to the sound of the wind?
