She was taught to tie her scarfs And wear her skirt. No smile but she laughs, she loves those in shirt Bare chested or in singlet . Her mother's voice in her head said; worthy is the white, Respected is the white, Honourable is the white If left un- defiled. Remember if dipped in mud The pride is forever gone.
