WORTH WITHIN ❤🥺
When darkness falls and shadows creep, My soul grows heavy, starts to weep, For life's unpredictable ways, That fill my heart with troubled days. I give my all, extend my hand, To help others across the land, But when I stumble, when I fall, No answering voice returns my call. Each morning's light, I speak the truth, Of my own worth, my timeless youth, I am important, loved, unique, These affirmations that I speak. I put myself first in the race, Yet find I cannot keep the pace, For at the edge, in desperate plea, Another's hand still reaches me. I am enough, this truth I hold, More precious than the purest gold, All that I need dwells deep inside, A constant, steady, faithful guide. With grateful heart, I greet the dawn, See beauty in the dew-kissed lawn, In sunlight's gentle, warming rays, That chase the night and darkest days. Sometimes I err, I cause some pain, And though I know it, I restrain, From showing weakness, fault, or flaw, Perfection's mask I always draw. I try to change how others act, Their behaviors, their exact, But failed to see, until this hour, Their own paths, their own inner power. Within my soul, the light now gleams, Dispelling all those broken dreams.
