Worth
I'm not needed I never will be And never was But that's okay I actually prefer it Cause I know, to be needed is to be useful Which is something I lack So it's one less burden off my back But then, why do I yearn for it? Weep for it in the night? Yearn for the day I can be shown in a different light? To be seen as worth the need I say to myself it's cause I let myself dream too much Cause it lets me have hope that life won't always be as such Even though I already know the truth That I'll never be someone's muse Life passes right before my eyes every day Watching others my age have the worth for which I can only pray And God, do I pray
