words hurt

I will take your words your feedback your intent and grow from it learn from it heal from it I won't take your tone your anger and meanness that slices at My most insecure self my deepest vulnerability I won't let you destroy me through your tone so I separate you in my mind two figures in my head one that helps me one that hurts me and I cry in silence at the one that breaks my heart every time without care and I hold tight onto the one that loves me hoping that person is real and not a figment of my imagination
