Word
When the words, cuts through the heart like a blade So sharp that it cuts too deep When the words are, as heavy as a ball of metal Weighs in and it crumbles the ground beneath A few words that always follow me, From the past, present and maybe future, And one word that always controls me, Though innocent, to me, it's hurtful It's not a curse word nor a name But it explains how I fail, Word that crushes my veins, Like swallowing a handful of nails How easy it is to let it out, Without you thinking about it When it hurts me the most Without you feeling it.
