within me
within me, I hold a silence you can hear with your eyes. I carry a heavy heart that could weep any rain cloud dry. very little peace, but a monsoon of chaos resides. I once found solace in just a set of eyes. with in me there's a man not many have met. unafraid of anything other than himself. Draped in dark shadows so pain is not so easy to forget. Happiness is a bittersweet memory left unmanaged and mostly wept. Finding the strength to keep sanity to my mind, I drift off from the shadows to sunny days and a smile. what it felt like to see that you thought I'd hung the moon in the sky and that beautiful unmistakable look of love in those eyes. since they've been gone, I live life with no light. within me lurk the demons of a shadowy life. love lost, and its memories eat me alive. within me, I'm failing in life to survive, so within me, let this love please leave or please let this man die.
