Wishing well
A single coin for a wish, A price too cheap for this. Can it give me what I want, will it save my life besought. It's absurd to think it could, but I will give it a chance. A silver coin is all it takes, To give hope to a sullen heart. A coin is the price for hope, A chance to dream, And a prayer it seems. But I have no coin to give to this well, Nor any dreams to dream. Everything has a price in this world, Even if it's hope that is too slim.
