Winter blues
Winter blues In the depths of winters cold embrace, The world is draped in hues of gray, The sun hides behind a veil of clouds, Leaving a feeling of depression in its wake, The trees stand in the frost covered ground, Their branches reaching out in a gale wind force, The ground is blanketed in pure white snow, Winter blues falls silent, no more summertime sounds, IIn the depths of winter, the blues settle in, A heavy weight upon my chest, a fog buried within, The frost outside mirrors the chill in my soul, As I navigate this season of darkness and cold, Mental health struggles, anxiety grips tight, Loneliness wraps around me like a blanket at night, Isolated and alone, I try to fight the despair, But sometimes it feels like there's no one there, The world keeps spinning, while I stand still, Trapped in this cycle, against my will, But I hold onto hope, like a flickering flame, Knowing that spring will come, breaking the chains, So I breathe in the icy air, and let it go, Embracing the winter blues, letting them flow, For in the darkness, there is also light, I will rise from this, shining bright.
