Will I Ever Be Good Enough?
Day dreaming about a woke man's fantasy. Imitating all the things that will never be. Am I crazy? Am I letting go? I guess we'll never know. Imagining the words that will never be spoken to me over and over. The more I want it bad. The more I want it now. The faster time gets slower and slower. Fool me once. Fool me twice. Am I dumb or am I nice? And you wonder why I'm cold as ice. Will I ever be good enough for you? Will you just notice me? Will you ever just notice me? This is what I really want to know. Will I ever be good enough for you? Awake in the Dead of night wishing it was over. Can't you see I can't handle this anymore? The pain is visible. But I'm invisible. I guess you'll never see me. Silent screams of my sanity's pain But let's keep it going because reality's lame. It makes me feel loved. It makes me feel alive. Even though it's all a lie. Fool me once with a lie. Fool me twice I'll die. Do I have a choice? Why should I? Will I ever be good enough for you? Is this feeling really love? Can't you see that I've had enough? This is what I really want to know. Will I ever be good enough for you?
