WHY NOW?
Tears rolling down my face, I sit and wonder why, why did he leave me when I needed him the most, like a leaf falls from the tree, I was the leaf, but wasn't down growing, he was the tree and he let go He didn't know how much I needed him then, but now that I don't hes back. The tree came back and I was blooming. Becoming my own. I learned to livw without my tree and he finally needed his leaf. I don't need him, I don't want him, but he is family and I am his sprout. Growing on my own, learning to live, finding my own roots, surviving. I feel bad for the tree. He came back to late, his leaf is now blooming into her own tree, finding her way without him there. The question is, WHY NOW?
