Why I'm single
I want love, But I don't want to date. Because I feel constantly empty. I don't want my emptiness; To take control of my actions. So I end up doing, Something's wrong. As if I was, Drunk driving. Feeling empty, Isn't fair to someone. That might like me, Or to my friends. Or anyone else that craves my attention. So I want love, But I don't want to destroy anyone. I remain single, I put on a fake smile. To keep everyone at bay; And keep them safe. From, me. -N.L.
