Why Do We Need War?

I haven't done this in awhile but this is a sequel to Play A Cadence For The Fallen as well as my prayer! My son fought bravely in Iraq So you may wonder why I squawk Yet while there he almost was killed Fortunately Marines are highly skilled So he came back to go on living While sadly many do the utmost giving I've learned to love the soldier and hate the war That kids are called to fight I completely abhor I pray all the time that war will cease It's past time that our world had peace
