why do we crushes

why do we have crushes when we can't have them. like what's the point, we silently fall for them with them knowing, knowing that we'll get nothing back. we sit there making these small scenarios in our heads, making small memories. we sit there knowing they probably don't look at us the same way but we still fall for them. getting nothing in return whats the point we make dreams thinking it'll happen but then you come back to reality and your like wow they'll never actually accept me bc they hate me. we all wast time liking someone knowing they'll never like you back, but we still like them anyway. we give feeling that that were never even ours. we give feelings that weren't asked for, we care without getting care back and it hurts know that they'll never care for you back. it's like we're carrying something that were never able to put down and we carry more and more each time. why do we love what we can't have, when they'll never know how you feel they'll never know how badly we hurt for loving them so much that we hurt. but yet here are loving someone who will never know how we feel and we'll never how they feel about us. sincerely, maddi
