Why Do I Write?

why do I write? I write if I have feelings feeling that I can't say or show I write when my heart gets to heavy to hold I write if my brain is about to explode writing, though it may seem weird, is my way to express my feelings and lift that weight off my heart if I were to stay silent I wouldn't last I need to get these feelings out just not with words I write because I write it's a part of me it's like saying "why do you talk?" talking is how someone expresses their feelings but talking doesn't work for me I need to write if I have something to say but don't know how to say it I grab a pencil and paper and let my head and heart lead the way the final product a poem or story of how I feel about anything in the world Why do I write? well, it's simple I write to express and get a load off my chest
