Why Do I Love You

Why did I say I love you  I know I didn't think it through  I know it's not true  And I don't know what to do When you say ‘I love you’  Is it really true Or is it because you have to  Or because you don't know what to do  I feel us drifting apart  Different key different part  I wish we could communicate  Maybe then I wouldn't be behind the gate If you give me your time  I would give you mine  You never got to know me  My good grades are all you see My smartness is all I’ll ever be But I'm also someone you never see I always hide in my room  I don't know if I’ll leave soon
