why do I cry

Why do I cry at children movies?  Instead of the rapid movements of people that say they love me?  At the people that say they will protect me from the winter snow  Or the spring rain Or the summer blow  Why do I cry at cartoon cats instead of the yelling that fills my house  At the banging of hands and the stomping of feet  Why do I cry at sad dog videos instead of the pain that I've hidden in my bowls of food for years.  Why do I cry?
