why did no one tell me that you have to prepare for the day that your favorite person leaves its funny cause one day your smiling and laughing with them the next day your not why did no one tell me that I have to go through the pain of watching them walk away even when my arms are open its sad because you stand there waiting for them to come back when they don't it runs deep and make you wonder if you did enough did you say I love you enough did you spend enough time with them did you prepare for the day they leave I mean we all knew that nothing lasts forever and we all knew what we got ourselves into but it still hurts like hell it hurts enough to leave me in bed crying for days and its worse when everyone else keeps moving while you feel stuck frozen to that one person who isn't there anymore the pain is unbearable and unforgettable I hate that we knew but still chose to let them in time doesn't wait for anyone not me not you no one so as much as it hurts we keep moving on though everyday in the back of your mind they're there that one person who was by your side the longest why did nobody tell me it would hurt this much that everyone else would keep moving while time froze for me
