WHY are we HERE?
What is life, a fleeting breath? A whispered promise, a moment's death We search for answers, night and day Yet, in the shadows, doubts still sway Some journey through life, with hearts aflame Their souls on fire, with love's sweet name While others wander, lost and alone Their lives are a canvas, of pain and stone What is life, a test of will? A dance with fate, on destiny's hill We struggle, we strive, we rise and fall Yet, in the silence, we hear life's call But what of those, who suffer and sigh? Who weep and whisper, with tears-dimmed eyes? Is life a cruel joke, a heartless game? Or is it a lesson, in love's sweet name? What is life, a mystery still? A tapestry woven, with every thread and will We search for answers, in the dark of night And in the silence, we find life's light.
