Why?
You asked me the other day "why don't you like texting?" Such a simple question but yet I find it hard to explain so I'll try using my words. In the past, I did liked it, the act of exchanging ideas and ideologies The act of features our future and discovering each other's past history. The pleasure of sharing stickers and emojis all that in an attempt to seem funny But you know, I started that too early, early enough to fail countless times, early enough to be redicouled, early enough to gain experience, or rather scars that now I hide under my scarfs Being ghosted, ignored, insulted, betrayed, scammed now feel like nothing new. I can now see the end without even reading it through. With your way of saying hello, I can see what you need from me. Reviewing my conversations, I can see the paragraphs I sent but also the lines I received as a reply. "I'm a fast Typer", I told myself to cope but you know I'm sure I was just a joke. I insisted so hard so now I'm cracked So, yes I don't text much, not anymore, for I've already given it my all, I'm still young ,sure but I feel so old, it's as if I've already seen it all, it's like I'm all grown and now I'm just a tourist walking in the hall trying to act cold.
