Why?
Do you really not see it? Do you not see me breaking apart? Was wiping my tears all it took for you to think all was good? I'm right in front of you— crumbling, shattering— bit by bit, piece by piece. all on my own, in pitch darkness and deafening silence, One thick enough to choke. A "why?" is all that haunts me. A "why" is all that echoes within. I try to reason— but the evidence is splattered everywhere, I try again— still can't bring myself to blame you. I've begun to think it's my fault, for it felt kinder, than to believe you'd overlook on purpose. for it felt kinder, than to accept the wrenching truth. But to think you were truly blind to the storm raging in me, Is stupidity. I don't want to be stupid for you no more, but alas, I continue to be. - 11/05/2025, 23:45.
